This is particularly good news to my ears. “Google sitemaps has been adopted by Yahoo and Microsoft.”
We have been participating in the Google sitemaps program for awhile for our new sites at Indoff. Here is a sample sitemap.xml file from one of our sites.
TechCrunch has the sitemap scoop.
I was just thinking about this click fraud issue, since anyone who advertises in a “content network” has seen bogus clicks including myself. That’s why I have opted out of all of “content networks”.
However I don’t think this issue is unsolvable especially for Google.
Google should require that all adSense providers use Google Analytics on all there pages within there domain. And then give access to the analytics of the providers of click to advertisers. Heck they could probably identify all the bogus clicks with analysis of the data collected.
Secondly they need to add “Locality” to adSense if I specified “St. Louis” in my campaign then I certainly don’t want clicks from Korea. This alone would probably reduce click fraud to nearly nothing.
Now it’s just a matter of time before they sell you a Gmail Mini. You can signup for the beta of Google Apps for your domain.
“it will offer a package of software including its e-mail, calendar and chat programs and a Web site development tool for companies and organizations looking to avoid the high cost of providing such services on their own.”

Google has finally released their calendar product. Now they can get busy with that Exchange killer I talked about.
So we received our new Google Mini. We purchased the 100k document version. It took me all of about 1 hour to do the custom integration work. We decided to do the custom integration utilizing the built in XML API. I first thought that this would be at least a several day project. I was surprised when I had it working flawlessly in less than an hour.
How long do you think it will be before Google will release an Exchange killer via Gmail-Mini?
So if they bundled Gmail, Gtalk, Search, News Reader and their CL2 calendar up into a nice manageable package like the Google Mini. IMHO you would have an Exchange killer. Throw in a nice XML API and it would be an excellent collaboration server.
Hell they could do the same thing with Google Analytics and we would probably buy one.
Update: They seem to be getting closer.
So Google released Google Pages. Nothing to exciting there yet but I am sure there is more to come in the future.
